Bodyparts - a few smallish drawings/sketches I had done for my drawing 2 class. I sorta like the middle one even if it is somewhat blurry in this picture.
Crotchshot! - This piece was sorta infamous in our dorm room cause it was done of my roomates croth. I needed to focus on hands and my prof suggested I do one of a persons hands in their lap. But with the little circle thingy in his hands it just seems to re-affrim the fact it really ended up being all about his nuts. So I bring it into class and she then suggest I do a piece all on masturbation..crazy wacko she was.
My Hallways - My first attempt at painting with oils. Didn't turn out too bad if you ask me..
Painting of my lamp - done of teh lamp that was on my desk and it's my second painting. I kinda like it a lot really but I also sorta wanna go back in and add some other stuff to it..
Self Portrait - The one thing I did all year that I really, really, really like. And yet my prof didn't really like it..well she can go cram it. Seems to have become a bit more elongated looking than it is in real-life but oh well.
These next two were done during the MICA pre-college i went to in 99. they're a sort of gestural drawing style i picked up then that I really like to do nudes in.
Statue - a quick 5 minute drawing a snapped off one day in drawing 2 after thinking I couldn't do anything that day. Sorta like it but the damn things head got chopped off by the camera. Poo..
Stairway Ball - A big shiny brass ball at the end of the main stairway in our schools Main Building. I thought it looked neato and since my subject at that time was refelections I decided to do it. Came out allright looking I think
Teapot - the first reflective thing I did during 1st semester. It came out really good for a 2 hour drawing done in-class and helped infulence me later on in the year.
