Artwork #2 |
Warning: All images link to their larger counter-parts so if you're on a modem, give them a little bit to load.
Here's the bodyparts pic that had been broken for so long
Here's the other picture everyone was wondering why it didn't work. It's a
well, crotchshot of my roomate justin.
Here's the one oil painting i did that I really like a lot. It's of our hallway
when I was at MICA
Here's a pencil drawing I did of my lamp. I kinda like how it turned out but
I wish I could've figured out how to get some more detail into the reflections,
but oh well.
And here's the other time I used the lamp. This time in a oil painting that
I did after the 'Hallway' one, and frankly I don't like it as much, but whatever.
This is the one drawing I did last semester at NOVA that really made me go
"whoah." And now after looking at it some more I really really like
the way the shadows along the man's back came out.
Here's my other 'style' of drawing, really sketchy. Though I believe in this
piece I tried to blend the two styles I have after my prof wondering if I
could. I don't dislike the piece that much..but I also don't like it as much
as the one above.
This one you've probably seen before as it's on the other art page, but this
is a lot better picture of it so I put it up again. Again this was one of
the first figure drawings I did after finding my 'style', so to speak.
Here's another one I did using my smooth-blending style that I kind of like.
The shadow along the side of her body is interesting to me, though I think
I made her boobs bigger then they really were, but oh well.
See I do actually draw males too. Suprisingly this is one of the few drawings
you'll notice that I put their head, arms and feet in. For whatever reason
I don't like to draw them so I usually try to crop the pictures in such a
manner so that I don't have to put them in, or leave the drawing with subtle
hints as to where those things should be.
Another one of that same man, this time done with smooth-shading. Again I
did his hands and face though his head looks a little smallish to me now that
I look at it. But some of the shadows in the picture are appealing to me.
Another one of my headless drawings. But I did draw one hand because of the
interesting shadows along the fingers.
This I did the night before it was due of my roomate Seth at MICA. When I
did it I thought it wasn't too good, but looking at it now I like some of
the lines along his shirt.
Again this is a pic that's on the Art #1 page, but the quality is a lot better
now.
This is another one of those pictures I thought was crappy when I first did
it. I did it during class at MICA of a statute in our building, the statue
was made of an ivory type substance that made it look really smooth, and somehow
I think I managed to get that across in the drawing, but I guess you're the
judge of that.
Another of a 'double' picture, but hopefully you can see some of the detail
a lot better now. I still like this one the most out of all the 'reflective'
pieces I've done.
Here's a drawing I had to do for my Drawing 1 class at MICA of folds of clothing.
I'm not sure if I like/dislike it still..
So there you have it, some more artwork by me. Gimme your thoughts/input or whatever either in the guestbook, or forum.
